DJM’s predecessor was a small chain of retail stores called Mini Truck USA, which steadily grew in popularity through the 70s in Southern California. With an abundance of van specialty shops, the need was seen for the growing mini truck market. After amassing a chain of retail stores, DJM’s founders saw a need to produce quality locally manufactured American-made lowering parts, and this was the brainchild for DJM Suspension.

With humble beginnings in a small industrial space in Torrance, California, in the mid-1980s, DJM Suspension started out manufacturing American-made lowering blocks. It grew into an industry leader in aftermarket American-made lowering kits and components throughout the years. DJM Suspension continued to grow steadily throughout the years and gained popularity in the Automotive circle for high-quality, cost-effective American-made parts and components.

DJM still prides itself on American craftsmanship and quality at affordable prices and continues to grow as an industry leader for quality lowering components for Tucks and SUVs while staying true to being a company born on love for customization and all things Aftermarket Automotive. With all manufacturing being done in-house, DJM’s quality control and attention to detail are still unsurpassed in the industry, giving us a unique advantage over all our competitors.
